You'll travel parallel to the Bhagirath River as you move to Natin, the village 30km away from Uttarkashi. The mountain peaks like Shrikantha and the Gangotri ranges will uphold you throughout the journey.
Finally, you'll reach Natin, the famous base camp for Dayara Bugyal Trek.
You'll spend your night in a sari and the next day your trek will start.
Your day will start at 7 in the morning with a drive from Sankri to Taluka half an hour drive into the thick forests and you will reach Taluka. A small village in the lap of Himalayas home to few humans and a variety of plants and trees is a perfect description for Taluka. The first part of the trek will take you through fresh water flowing rivers and huge pine trees until you reach your first bridge of the trek. Walking in the trail you will be sporting colourful and vibrant orchids make sure to click some good pictures with them. You will be served packed lunches for the day which you may have after crossing the Supin tributary on your way. You may try some hot veg Maggie along with your packed lunch from the local shop available on the way. Prepare yourself to watch the harvesting of potatoes , millets, and maize that will fall on your trail. You will see the step farming up close and it will amaze you how the people of the mountains grow these vegetation with the limited resources that they have. Reaching your camp rest before the sun sets, a beautiful campsite admits the breathtaking view on the backs of Supin and you will reach the final destination for the day : Pauni Garaat.
ALTITUDE GAIN : 8,200-9,850 Ft.
Wake up to the beautiful Himalayas and start your day with freshly served breakfast. The trek today will be a little steeper than yesterday but is well distributed with gradual ascents as well. The trail for the day will pass through thick coniferous forests and will reach the Seema village. Seema village hosts a concrete guest house set by the forest department on the banks of river Supin. The village of Osla is located on the other side of the banks. As you will trek forward the trail will give you better views of Mt. Bandarpoonch and Swargarohini peaks. You will find the old village of Osla admits the trees of cashew nuts and walnuts. The village hold a very ancient faith and believes (according to the locals) that there was once a clam which was loyal to the Duryodhan the eldest brother of Kaurava (from the epic of Mahabharata) and due to there faithfulness towards him they built a temple devoted to him and till this date the temple exists and the villagers preach him. The village also is known for owning a 2000 years old temple: The Someshwar temple with distinctive architecture. The village also has a king who visits once a month and after his arrival the main pooja is conducted. The ascent is steeper now as you walk further you will also see the Dhauladhar range in front of your trail. Walking further and straight you will be reaching your campsite 2 which is Kalkattiyadhar. It is a beautiful and small village and you can spot the majestic views of some of the mountain peaks like Bugyal Devsu and Mt. Black. You will also be able to see the Ruinsara range and Kedarkantha summit on your left. Sulk in the beauty and get ready for tomorrow as it is THE SUMMIT DAY!
Altitude Gain/LOSS - : 9,850-11,800 Ft. (Vise-Versa)
Starting your day early right after having breakfast as today will mark the longest day of your trek. The trail today will take you into the glacier basin. Starting your trek with an accent marking a great start with beautiful views of mountains the trek is mostly a gradual and easy one until you reach Har ki Dun. Also get ready to see frozen waterfalls as your ascent further and deep patches of snow in some places. You will reach the Har Ki Dun valley just like that enjoying the views. Har Ki Dun Valley is a pleasing place with appealing views to offer. Hata Peak, Black Peak, Swargarohini Peak are some of the many peaks which you can witness from Har ki dun valley. The trail takes you from a 45 degree incline which can be a little difficult to cross. The final phase will include climbing alongside the river and through dense forests reaching all the way up to the mega destination: Har ki Dun Summit. Summit will give you even better views of Swargarohini I peak, Hata peak, an Black peak. Try to click a lot of pictures with your group and make sure to soak in as much beauty as you can after spending a good time at the summit. It will be your time to bid a final goodbye to the beauty and descend down to the campsite of Kalkattiyadhar.
ALTITUDE LOSS : 9,850-8,200 Ft.
You will start trekking towards the Osla village and from there to Pauni Garaat. Make sure to enjoy the last few days of your trek with the villagers, interact with them closely, see the live harvesting of grains and learn their culture. Following your own footprints from earlier you will reach the campsite of Pauni Garaat. The descent is gradual from Pauni Garaat. Enjoy your packed lunches amidst the views and fill your water with the natural spring water points. Ending your day in the lovely campsite
Altitude Loss - 8,200-6400ft
Climb down from Pauni Garaat to Taluka, it is a 5-hours long trek. While trekking downwards make sure to stay away from “Bichhu ghas” as the slightest touch of the plant can make you feel uncomfortable for at-least half an hour. Walking along with the Supin river the final stretch will take you to Taluka village. You will be greeted by a car which is waiting for you. Board the car and drive down to the camp village of Sankri. You will be accommodated in nice and clean guesthouses for the day. Have a fulfilling dinner and depart to your beds.
Pulse rate at rest must be in between (60 to 90 beats per minute).
Blood Pressure Reading must be in between (DIASTOLIC 70 – 90, SYSTOLIC 100 – 140 mm Hg).

First, you can arrive at Delhi, Dehradun Airport or Chandigarh. The journey from these locations to Dehradun is explained below.
1. Take an overnight train from Delhi to Dehradun.
2. Take a bus to Dehradun ISBT from Delhi Kashmiri gate ISBT or Chandigarh Sector 17 Bus stand, and then take local transport to the pickup point (Prince Chowk).
Delhi to Dehradun – 250km | 6hr.
Chandigarh to Dehradun – 220km | 5hr
The distance from the Dehradun Bus Stand (ISBT) to the Railway Station is 6 km, without traffic, it will take 15 minutes.
( We always recommend to go for the govt. Buses over the private ones outside the bus station as based on the experience we have found that there are very high chances of delay involved with private buses. Also, govt. Buses are always more reliable. Whichever bus you choose, just make sure to reach Dehradun at least by 05:30 am positively. )
3. Take a flight to Dehradun airport (Jolly Grant Airport), then from the Airport to Prince Chowk, Dehradun Distance is 30km and it will take around 1 hr( if coming by flight then reach one day early).
( If you prefer to travel independently to Base camp and don’t want to take TMV’s pick-up service, you can either take a government bus or book a private cab from Rishikesh. Your trek coordinator will provide guidance on how to arrange for the bus or cab booking. )
